Longstanding relationships with technology vendors, distributors and industry specialists, backed by hands-on experience across IT and audiovisual solutions.
Understanding requirements, shaping proposals, negotiating terms and collaborating across teams; including complex enterprise transactions.
I enjoy meeting people, understanding what matters to them and finding practical ways to help.
My experience spans business development, account growth, technology sales and enterprise sourcing; from working directly with customers to bringing together vendors, specialists and delivery teams.
What connects it all is a straightforward approach: listen carefully, find the opportunity, do what you say you'll do and build relationships that last.
Reliability. Following through and being someone customers and colleagues can count on.
Relationships. Taking the time to understand people and their businesses.

Curiosity. Staying interested in technology, new ideas and better ways of working.
A few examples of the work I've been involved in; each with its own customer challenge and practical solution.
Designed and delivered a complete audiovisual solution for a national industry association, supporting live, in-person events alongside simultaneous nationwide livestreaming. Integrated presentation displays, multiple camera systems capturing presenters and live demonstrations, microphones, audio equipment and video switching. Developed and tested elements of the solution before coordinating specialist installation, demonstrations and training.
Won a competitive tender for approximately 70 commercial interactive touch panels for a major public healthcare organisation. The initial success led to further deployments across major healthcare organisations in Auckland and Northland, providing a foundation for additional business nationally.
Managed complex technology sourcing and commercial opportunities for major enterprise customers, bringing together suppliers, technical specialists and internal teams to develop solutions, negotiate commercial outcomes and successfully close multimillion-dollar transactions.
Supported multi-year projector refresh programmes and specialist audiovisual requirements for tertiary education, including high-end projection systems and custom-manufactured screens sourced internationally to meet demanding facility requirements.
Identified a more effective way to win business by targeting buying groups, franchises and multi-site organisations at head-office level rather than approaching individual locations. The success of this approach led Warehouse Stationery to create a dedicated Buying Groups & Associations business development role, into which I was promoted.
Proactively approached Lotus Cars New Zealand with an opportunity to improve its website, securing the business and helping establish a customer relationship that continued for more than 20 years through ongoing website and digital services.

Managed a national customer portfolio, developing relationships and commercial performance.

Moved into the marketing team, creating digital campaigns and managing web and e-marketing activities.

Promoted into a newly created role developing commercial relationships with buying groups and multi-site organisations.

Developed new commercial accounts through proactive prospecting and customer relationships within the B2B business.

Managed business machines and technology areas alongside wider store responsibilities, beginning at Henderson. The Fast Track programme prepared me for store management; I also had sole charge of a branch for approximately six to eight weeks.

Websites, digital design, photography, video and direct client relationships; alongside my main employment.
Technology fuels my creativity, and creativity shapes how I approach technology. My interest in technology began with building computers for music production, later expanding into web design, long before technology became my career. That curiosity has stayed with me, influencing how I explore ideas, solve problems and find different ways of doing things, both professionally and creatively.
Music production brings together my interests in electronic instruments, sound design and the creative process. Sometimes an entire piece of music can begin with creating just one interesting sound.
Photography and videography combine my creative interests with technology, from capturing the image through to processing, editing and bringing the finished work to life.
I enjoy getting outdoors, walking, cycling and exploring new places. It's a chance to unwind, let my mind wander and find inspiration in the world around me. Sometimes it's simply about enjoying the moment; other times, it's where fresh ideas and different perspectives begin.
